When is Vanarama Fish‘O’Mania?

When and where is Vanarama Fish’O’Mania?
This year’s Vanarama Fish‘O’Mania takes place on Saturday, July 8 at Cudmore Fisheries in Staffordshire.

What time does it start?
The ‘all in’ for the Grand Final is at 12:05pm, but Cudmore Fisheries will open to the public at 10am on Saturday. The competition will end at 5:05pm.

 

Can I still get tickets and how much do tickets cost?
Tickets are free of charge and can be downloaded to print at home at www.fishomania.net/tickets. Car parking at Cudmore Fisheries costs £10 per car.

 

Who has qualified this year?
Among the 25 qualifiers is angling legend Will Raison, a serial winner of the Fish’O’Mania International tournament, and Jamie Hughes, who has won Fish‘O’Mania twice. The full list of qualifiers can be found here.

 

How much does the winner get?
The winner of the Vanarama Fish‘O’Mania Grand Final takes home £50,000. The runner-up will receive £10,000.

 

When will the draw take place?
The peg draw will take place at 5pm on Friday, July 7 at Cudmore Fisheries. This is not open to the public but will be broadcast live at www.facebook.com/fishomaniamatch.

 

What about the Ladies and Juniors?
The Ladies and Junior events will be fished on the Suez Canal at Cudmore Fisheries. The winner of each match will net £1,000. The Junior competition begins at 11am with the final weigh-in at 3pm. The Ladies’ match runs 11:30am-3:30pm.

 

Will there be any trade stands?
Yes, as always there will be trade stands at Cudmore open throughout the day

 

I can’t make it to Cudmore Fisheries. Can I watch on TV?
Yes, Fish’O’Mania will be broadcast throughout on Sky Sports. This year it will be broadcast on Sky Sports 3, and simulcast on Sky Sports Mix. Sky Sports Mix is channel 407 and is available to all Sky TV customers regardless of whether they receive the other Sky Sports channels. Sky Sports Mix is also available on selected Virgin Media packages.

 

I don’t live in the UK, can I still watch Vanarama Fish‘O’Mania?
