Guess The Weight Winners Announced

Prior to this year’s partypoker Fish‘O’Mania, promoters Matchroom Sport ran a Guess The Weight competition, inviting FishO fans to submit their guess as to what this year’s winning weight would be in the Grand Final.

Andy May took the £50,000 partypoker Fish‘O’Mania title with a winning weight of 27.15kg. Nobody guessed this exact amount but Kylie Michaela was the closest, guessing 27.51kg to earn herself the £2,000 winner’s prize.

Michaela is a director of Armitage Anglers Fishing Club and submitted her guess online having been unable to make it to Cudmore Fisheries this year.

“I’m shocked,” she said on hearing the news. “I watched Fish‘O’Mania at home in my living room this year.

“We did actually have tickets to go and watch it live but I had a seizure a few days beforehand so wasn’t able to make it, which we were absolutely devastated about – last time we went our oldest child was actually seen on the TV!

“I put down this weight as I know the pool was restocked with a lot of smaller fish but it was a pure guess really. I’m actually dancing around my living room!”

The three runners-up prizes went to Callum Mulvenna, Paul Adshead and Francis O’Reilly. All winners have been contact by Matchroom Sport.
