Matchroom Multi Sport and Sky Sports are bringing a brand new angling show to TV screens this spring as Fish‘O’Mania – The Qualifiers launches on Sky Sports Action on Friday, March 23.
Fish‘O’Mania – The Qualifiers comprises three 30-minute magazine programmes, with the second episode to debut on May 11 and the third on July 6. Presenters Julie Collier and Keith Arthur will bring angling fans the lowdown on all 22 Fish‘O’Mania XXV qualifying matches ahead of the Grand Final, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports on Saturday, July 14 from Hayfield Lakes in Doncaster.
March’s episode will feature action from the first qualifying match at Viaduct Fishery and a catch up with three-time FishO champion Jamie Hughes.
Viewers can also look forward to expert tips from Keith Arthur and an interview with Matchroom Sport chairman Barry Hearn, who reflects on 25 years of ‘The FA Cup of Fishing’.
Future episodes will round-up all of the qualifying action as anglers across the country bid to land a spot in the 25th annual Fish‘O’Mania, where the winner will walk away with a cheque for £50,000.
Each episode of Fish‘O’Mania – The Qualifiers will be repeated several times after its first airing and all three episodes will be shown in the build up to the Grand Final during the week of July 9.
